The Golden State Warriors have a lottery pick for the first time since their 2022 championship season, slated to pick 11th in the 2026 Draft. The 11th overall selection has produced some franchise-altering contributors, both within the Warriors and league wide. Among the most accomplished 11th picks in NBA history are four-time champion Klay Thompson, Hall of Fame forward Jamaal Wilkes, back-to-back reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Hall of Fame guard Reggie Miller, and seven-time champion Robert Horry. Klay Thompson was selected by the Warriors with the 11th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. He was one-half of the 'Splash Brothers' who revolutionized the modern game with lethal long-distance shooting. He holds an NBA record for the most 3-pointers in a game, sinking 14 against the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 29, 2018. Thompson made countless big shots for the Warriors over the years and won four championships in 13 seasons in the Bay. Jamaal Wilkes was selected by the Warriors with the 11th pick in the 1974 NBA Draft. He was a vital contributor in the playoffs, averaging 15.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game, playing nearly 30 minutes a night across 17 games. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was selected by the Charlotte Hornets with the 11th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. He was immediately re-routed to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for the 12th pick and two future second-round picks. Gilgeous-Alexander played only his rookie season with the Clippers and was a playoff contributor for a team the Warriors defeated in a competitive six-game series.
